Michelle Eisen holds a Master's degree in Child Study and Education and a Bachelor degree in Science, currently working as the Music, grade 7/8 homeroom teacher at Meadowbrook Public School with the York Region District School Board. Miss Eisen has also provided music therapy for children with Autism at the South Asian Autism Awareness Centre, clients with cancer and their siblings at The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, and has held sessions for those suffering with addiction at Bellwood Health Services.

In 2011, Michelle Eisen's band, Leading Notes released their first CD, "Just a Walk in the Park," at Indigo Bookstore, in an effort to combat learning difficulties through music. Leading Notes has performed for over 1000 children within Toronto and the GTA for schools, fundraisers, and the general public.

Through her training, teaching experience, consultant roles, and research involvement in music, literacy and nutrition, and the roles they play in child development and education, she was a regular columnist for OurKids magazine and DialogueOnline.  As well, Michelle has been invited to speak at Sick Kids, Queen's University, OISE at the University of Toronto, and Ryerson University on various topics relating to child development.
